Surveys

We attend Preventive and Corrective Inspections (pre-loading and damage surveys) on board vessels for commodities and project cargoes.
We also attend Joint Surveys in cooled warehouses, port terminals, bonded terminals, and at consignees/shippers facilities for the purpose of determine the causes and liabilities, and quantifying eventual losses and damages occurred during cargo transportation by trucks, refrigerated or not, and also in containers reefer and dry.
We have extensive technical and practical experience performing assessments of the causes of damages to food products and other commodities. We also perform Wood Timber and Log inspections.
Premium Surveys renders services for Transport Companies, Charterers, Ship Owners, Shipping Agencies, Insurance Companies, Law Offices, Importers, Exporters and P&I Clubs Correspondents.

Technical Reports

We analyze the events of temperature failures that may result in containers malfunction, the disconnections during loading/unloading vessels, Genset failures, intermittent disconnections, cargoes hot stuffing, bad stowage resulting in obstruction of cold air circulation, Internal Gas Leakage, Air Baffle plate dislocation and other factors which lead to spoilage and/or depreciation of chilled and frozen cargoes.
We elaborate Uselessness Reports, Cargo Destruction Reports and Non-Manipulation Certificates. We also elaborate IMDG Declaration of the goods, stating that dangerous goods declared are marked, classified, identified, labeled, packaged and placarded accordingly.

Consultancy

We provide technical assistance and legal advice for International Maritime Law offices, Transport Companies, Charterers, Ship Owners, Shipping Agencies, Exporters, Importers and P&I Clubs Correspondents, by collecting and analyzing documents, surveys reports, pictures and other available evidences, in order to determine the causes and the extension of the damages and depreciation to the cargoes, pointing out liabilities and mitigating losses.
